Full description

An electrophoresis power supply (EPS) is a key piece of laboratory equipment: it provides a stable electric field. By regulating voltage and current, the EPS-600C delivers the field required for sample separation and positioning in gel electrophoresis. It is fitted with a number of safety features protecting both the equipment and the operator during the experiment. Features: Suitable for SSR, nucleofection, transfer, protein, two-dimensional, isoelectric focusing and other electrophoresis experiments. High current allows four electrophoresis tanks to be connected at the same time. Constant current, constant voltage and constant power, continuously adjustable for stable and reliable performance. 10 programs can be edited and saved, each running in up to 10 steps. Over-current, over-load, over-temperature, no-load, short-circuit and sudden load change protection. Suitable for different input voltages worldwide and supports horizontal, vertical and blot transfer electrophoresis. 7-inch large touch screen: numeric keypad generated automatically when setting values, with clock, temperature, operating status and prompts. When voltage, current or power is held constant, the other two rise automatically to their maximum value without manual adjustment. Bright digital display for real-time monitoring of voltage, current and power output; knob controls, preset memory buttons and LED status indicators; sturdy metal casing. Space-saving profile that fits on any benchtop; ventilation slots prevent overheating, reinforced ports secure the cables and anti-slip feet keep the unit stable.
