The cigar-shaped model is designed to be inserted into Ø 30 mm holes in the tank, for example in the tank wall. The float switch is fixed by its cable at a single point. The float follows the level. The contacts switch about 5 to 15° below or above the fixing point. The exact switching point depends on the cable length between the fixed point and the float sleeve.
