PREC 100 — capacitive differential pressure transmitters

• Configurable range: 0...1.25 mbar to 400 bar • Accuracy: 0.1%, 0.25% and 0.5% • 4-20 mA output + HART • Sturdy housing with LCD display The Prec 100 series differential pressure transmitters are used mainly in the process industry. They measure level continuously in liquids and also measure flow. Filtration is another field with many applications. The PREC 100 pressure transmitters work on the capacitive measuring principle: Pressure acts on the isolating diaphragm; the intermediate fill fluid deflects the central diaphragm, which acts on a variable capacitor. This change in capacitance is converted into a 4-20 mA analog signal with the HART protocol. This technology is perfectly suited to measuring low pressures. The PREC 100 is of fully welded construction with no moving parts. Mounting on a diaphragm seal is possible (on request).
