A reed contact is encapsulated in the guide tube. As the float slides along the guide tube, it triggers the reed contact through the magnetic field of its ring magnet. The contact can be NC or NO according to how it is fitted. To make up a complete assembly, the user fits a copper tube of the required length between the two compression fittings supplied. Mounting: Keep the float more than 5 cm from any ferromagnetic source. Cut a Ø 6x8 copper tube to the required length and fit it at the ends, which carry compression fittings. For correct operation, make sure the tube connection is properly sealed, to avoid any leak inside the tube that could damage the magnetic detector.
