Series TILT — rotating paddle level switch

• For bulk solids, powders and granulates • Simple to use • Mounting in any position • Maintenance-free • ATEX version The TILT level switch detects the level of powders, granulates and grain. It is fitted on silos or tanks for level control, filling or overflow protection. The paddle is turned by a synchronous geared motor. When the product reaches the rotating paddle, its rotation is slowed. The resisting torque operates a microswitch that gives an output signal and stops the motor. When the paddle is freed again as the product falls, a spring returns the motor to its rest position. The microswitch changes over again and the motor restarts.
