The V51 level switch is used for overflow protection, liquid detection in tanks or pipework, and also for pump control and leak detection.
The vibrating forks are kept in resonance by the electronic circuit. When they touch the fluid, the damping of the vibration is detected and the output signal changes state. The state of the output signal is shown by an LED.
