Full description
Discharge tubes for observing emission spectra.
Features:
Central capillary portion is approximately 9-10cm long with electrodes sealed at both ends and connected to lead wires protected by metal caps.
Loops welded to caps for electrical connection.
Requires an induction coil giving a 5 cm spark, or a suitable transformer.
For intermittent use, cannot be used as lamps.
Options include Air, Argon, Carbon Dioxide, Helium gas, Hydrogen gas, Iodine, Krypton gas, Mercury gas, Neon gas, Nitrogen gas, Oxygen, Water vapor, Xenon, Bromine, and Deuterium.
Needs an induction coil 5cm spark, or a suitable transformer.
Length of capillary portion can be varied as required.
