T – 903 THERMOCOUPLE WITH OUTER-INNER PROTECTION TUBE & COUNTER FLANGE

Thermocouple fitted with two nested protection tubes, outer and inner, and mounted to the process by a counter flange. The outer tube takes the attack of the medium — temperature, corrosive atmosphere, abrasion — while the inner tube protects the sensing element directly; this arrangement extends the life of the sensor and allows the insert to be replaced without opening the process.
