Series 5500 — electrical contact kit for pressure gauges

• Polycarbonate dome • 1 or 2 contacts for Ø 100 gauges • Dry (series 7470 or 7870B) or liquid filled (series 7970B) The gauges have an electrical contact system for on/off monitoring and control of industrial processes. These gauges are used where the pressure must be displayed locally and where that pressure needs to be regulated. The 5500 series electrical contact kits can be set over the whole measuring scale and open and close according to the position of the gauge pointer, and therefore of the reading. The gauge pointer moves freely over the whole measuring range, whatever the contact settings. The contacts are set by hand with a removable key, and the contact is tripped as the pointer passes.
